splash guard and wheel arch

Hi:

1- is there is piece that covers the screws under the wheel arch, the screws do not look very well, I think they should have extended the black guard and then the screws would look ok especially on white

2- I noticed when I am washing the truck that the engine splash guard has an opening behind the strut and the alternator is not far from there, so be careful when washing that area. Is there a piece of guard that should be there on both front sides?? if not, what is the best after market solution.

Thanks

Talkin' bout mud flaps, my girl's got em!

You could probably find some flatter fasteners at Ace Hardware and get them powdercoated white.

The screws will eventually turn orange, don't worry.

The mudflaps on the engine compartment are mostly to keep mud and critters out, water (and salt) travels freely in and out of the engine bay during driving at speed.

I have Oem flaps on all 4 corners. I’m running 285’s on the ‘18 TRD pro suspension and Cornfed spacers 2.5/1.5. I had some rubbing on the bumper liner but nothing on the flaps. The fender liner mod fixed the rubbing. My caster is at 4 degrees.
