Victory Blitz/ARB skids/spidertrax installed

Been a busy couple days. Installed Victory Blitz sliders, and lemme tell ya, if you’re a KDSS owner, the drivers side is a b*&$h. In short, one doesn’t simply “move the KDSS system out to the way” Despite why the install video said.

Much cleaner look than the step bars, but you have to step wide on the getting in and out unless you use it as a step. Haven’t wired in the rock lights yet, that’s gonna be quite the job to do it the way I want. Skid plates went on without issue, and so far so good with the spacers. Stance is WAY better now, and the overall ride feels a lot more planted. 98000mi and still loving it. -Cheers

I got sick of being told that tire shops and dealers won't deal with Spidertrax, doing tire rotations myself, and actually having my Toyota dealer stretch the bolts on mine when they did a brake job and eventually removed them. I can tell you the handling is unchanged.

Worth the extra work in my opinion. Beats the crap out of having the tire shop screw up the balance, and overtorquing three of the bolts, always three, both fronts, as if they wanted my rotors to warp, never again with those guys. Handling has in fact changed albeit slightly. Widening the stance deadened the steering a little. To each their own tho.

That Victory hybrid bumper looks great, what winch are you going to drop in? Will you have to remove the factory bumper again to drop the winch in?

I just installed the LFD hybrid on my 4th gen and it was a piece of cake, no issues.

That’s actually a SouthernStyleOffroad bumper. I have a Warn Zeon, but because I’m supercharged I have to find a creative way to run the plumbing to accommodate the winch. I’m in no rush to mount it though since it’s a helluva lot of extra weight on the front to lug around (like it matters with all the other crap I have on this thing haha 😂)

Man I wish you were farther north haha. I'd love to have a look at the sliders and the SC setup if you were closer, once this whole virus-y stuff stops

I wasn't sold on the Victory sliders, I think they actually look pretty slick on yours. Seems like they just look like a nice beefy step bar just with added functionality. Is the tread plate wide enough to stand on comfortably to reach things on the roof?

In short, yes, see pic, Im a size 13... and that means a really big... pair of flip flops...

I was a tad skeptical as well, but its more than adequate as a means to access the roof, with the added benefit of being a continuous surface to stand on as opposed to the step bars. Im super happy with the look of these, the pics don't do a good job showing how much there is to work with, even on victory's website.

I love the blitz sliders. I’d recommend the dome rock module. It’ll light up with unlock from the fob and whenever the dome light comes on. Can still independently turn them on from the switch pro. Looks like factory.

Did you have an additional switch to run them independently from the dome light? or is that part of the Domerock pkg? How long did your install take?
