Yup. Jack under lca. Take off shock top nut, take off 2 bolts that connect knuckle to lca, support the rotor, support kdss piston, remove kdss bolts that connect to lca, very slowly lower jack, loosen cam bolt, remove shock lower bolt (at this point the lca can flop all the way down) and then remove shock and spring assembly (minus top hat which is still attached)
When you out it back in you jack up the lca to compress the spring.
Your using the jack to hold the lca and spring vs taking out the shock with top (as a coiover unit) then using a spring compressor to make a new coil over.
If you get a preassembled coilover this method can still be used to make install easier but not necessary.
I had to compile a few instructions (solo, no spring compressor, kdss) and typed it up. Ill post in once im done and confirm everything
