I just installed the Yota LED's and used the "TAIL" 10a fuse in the driver kick panel fuse box. Lights only come on when the headlights or running light are on. Many people notch the fuse box in the engine compartment to wire the add-a-fuse, really didn't want to risk dust or water getting in there.
On another note, I also cut the wire and fished it through the firewall grommet that the hood release utilizes. Super clean install although it does take a little time to get the wire pushed through. Once the wire was in the cab I extended it about 5", pulled that 10a "TAIL" fuse and Bob's your uncle.
The 3-LED Yota lights look killer IMO, any mode you do that makes the truck more enjoyable for the owner is OK in my book.
