Latest additions installed. Rigid Midnight edition SR Series Pro 40" light bar, KC FLEX dual ditch lights on cali-raised mounts.
Was having the damndest time figuring which light bar i wanted. Had a Rigid adapt that was returned immediately because it looked too "first responder" like. Then tried the Cali Raised dual mode, but it arrived the same time another Rigid that i had ordered but cancelled, thankfully it did though. Cali Raised is great value, but when it comes to fit/finish Rigid has the upper hand. Also, the harness for the dual mode was too short, so id have issues burying them in the windshield track, and it was also on the right side of the vehicle which seemed strange.
The install was fairly simple, I had ordered the "flush mount" kit from cali raised, but truth is the one that comes with Rigid's works better, and mounts closer to the crossbar. The Jam nuts that come with the cali kit were worth it though. The best part is the setup doesn't reflect off the hood at all, and good lord.... i thought the 30" RC one in my bumper was bright... Will get some better pics soon.
The ditch lights were the easiest mod so far. The mounts by Cali Raised are freakin awesome, perfectly flush, and also inexpensive. Start to finish only took about 45min. Was considering these for the roof rack, but $$ was a factor, and also, even these little guys are pretty heavy. Anyway, probably going to get the amber covers as well. Kinda looks like a pair of WALL-Es popping up from the engine bay. ;) Wired each one to the Switch Pro independently for now. Strobes...just for fun. And possibly the get even with GA drivers who cant figure out how high beams work...
