Moved to Idaho, proper 4Runner country. Little bit of drone footage
Been a minute since posting. Between recovering from a horrendous exploding appendix episode and uncle Sam deciding to relocate me 3 years from retirement things have been a tad busy. Didn’t stop me from finding a new thing to do, drones. Decided to head up to the arrowrock reservoir above Boise to get away from things for a bit and find some room to learn the drone. Still lots to learn, and holy crap the population has exploded out here (thanks California for ruining your state so bad everyone left and brought your inflated home prices with them...but I digress). Enjoy my sub-amateur attempts at videography... 😂

Anyway, considering I’ll be driving 100mi a day it may be time to say goodbye to the mighty 4R. As they say, if you love them let them go. She’s not that kind of daily driver...
Cheers

I daily commuted a 4Runner more than a 100 miles.
I wouldn’t part with it, especially living in Utah.

Come on bro, run that 4R into the ground until it dies! Which won’t be until you add another 200k miles! I DD 50 miles in my 16, and approaching 70,000. Besides oil changes, zero issues.
On a side note, you’re really utilizing the hell out of that full roof rack you got there :-)

Boise has become Los Angeles North, including the traffic. We briefly looked there for retirement, but ended up further north in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. Way less population, prettier, and more and better rivers to fly fish without the crowds of Boise.

Haha yeah I may have lost the keys to my snowboard racks and hand to remove the bars to take them off. It’s seen it’s fair share of use. 😉
