Will it fit? Or will it hit?

I have a 2.75/1 lift kit on its way and I was wondering if a 17x9 inch wheel with a 5.5 backspace will fit. I have the old American Outlaw wheels from my Silverado that have the same lug pattern and have 285/70/17 KO2's on them. I would like to run them temporarily until new wheel/tire money comes from Uncle Trump. :P

Hub bore diameter might be too small. Check that first. Has to be at least 106.something mm, over 4". IIRC the chevy bore is around 80mm.

Here are the specs. Maybe I was wrong about the backspacing being 5.5 inch. That looks to be the lug pattern spacing. Hub bore is 106.

Wheel Specs:
• Diameter: 17
• Wheel Width: 9
• Bolt Pattern: 6-139.7/5.5"-0.0
• Offset: -10
• Hub Bore Size: 106
• Weight: 28
• Finish: Silver
• Wheel Accent: Ball Cut Machined
• Load Capacity: 2400
• Wheel Piece Quantity: 1
• Construction Material Description
• Number Of Bolts: 6
• MPN Part Number: 117-7983S

Your backspacing will be 5.0" less 10mm, so about 4 5/8".

Wheel Offset Calculator

4.61"

You will be doing some work. Trimming the front, removing the muflaps, and maybe working on the body mount.

It will probably rub. Mine rubbed on a -10 backspace with 8.5 inch wide wheels and 285/70R17s.

I'd say it would rub pretty good. Mine did with 9" rims 5" backspace +1 mm offset. I did BMC, removed the mud flaps and some trimming. Get your caster out as far as you can and that will help some
