After doing more research and forum reading, I might actually hold off on the diff drop kit. Looks like the CVs might be in a good position without the drop kit.

I installed the stage 3 without a diff drop and don't see a need for one, but to each their own. Extremely happy with this kit

Good luck and reply back with your results. My Stage 2 kit should be arriving in a couple of weeks.
Thanks and will do!

I didn't install the drop either on mine.

So just finished the install of the stage 3 foam cell kit on my 2019 TRD Off Road. Initial impressions are that I am very pleased and boy did this kit stand my 4runner up.

The measurements are below but essentially I got a ~3.5” lift in the front and a ~2.25” lift in the rear. This will settle after a little more driving as well as the additions of steel bumpers, skids and sliders.

The install was relatively easy but still took 7.5 hours for me and my buddy. The main hang up for us is that neither of us had 19mm wrenches, we had sockets but largely the combo wrenches (ratchet wrench preferably) were what we needed. Not a deal breaker but would’ve made things easier.

Test drive: Steering was a bit stiffer. My buddy has a bilstein lift and mentioned his felt the same. Can’t explain why but I believe this is normal. Less body sway around corners. This suspension is hefty and will take care of you on the road just as much off road.

I plan to take this on some actual trails and really get a good review and full impression of this set up. Next on the agenda are Method 701s and General Grabber X3s next week.

The below measurements are from the listed point to the fender. I took the measurements in the same spot both times and test drove it before measuring after the install.

Stock:
DF - from ground 34 3/8” PF - ground 34 3/4”
Hub 20” Hub 20.5”

DR - ground 36 7/8” PR - ground 37”
Hub 22 3/8” Hub 22.5”

Ironman 4x4:
DF - from ground 37 3/4” PF - ground 38”
Hub 23 3/4” Hub 24”

DR - ground 40” PR - ground 40”
Hub 25.5” Hub 25.5”

It appeared the suspension install leveled things out for me being off by only a 1/4” on the DF which will be fine tuned after I get my wheels, tires and alignment done.

Glad you are happy with it! Yours will definitely settle a bit after a week or so. Mine did and I started about where you were.

Where did yours end up settling?

Also, did you buy their adjustment tool or buy a spanner wrench? I chose the latter.

The pin for the Ironman 4x4 tool is 7mm, what spanner wrench did you get?

Well, I didn’t know the pin on the Ironman tool was 7mm. The spanner wrench I went with is 8mm. I ordered it from Amazon and I am currently waiting for delivery. I’ll let you know if the 8mm works.

Not 100% sure but I ordered an 8mm spanner wrench from Amazon so I’ll let you know if that works once I get it.

Thanks! Keep us posted on how it goes.

$79 for the Ironman tool (marked down from $129) seems a bit excessive....

Let me know if it fits. To lower my 4Runner I adjusted my springs over the weekend with the Ironman tool. I did have to use a pipe wrench for leverage as the tool is too short.
I wish the tool would have a square 1/2" hole for a breaker bar instead of 10mm and 11mm hex holes...
