Thanks! Visually, I like it with this taller stance though, lol.

So, I'm getting ready to order the stage 2 for my 4runner with KDSS.
My truck is 80% DD and 20% off road on stuff like Engineer, Cinnamon and Mosquito Pass (I already do this now with my stock vehicle with occasional scraping).
A bit harder stuff like Red Cone and Webster is on my to do list.
No hardcore rock crawling and or high speed stuff.

Besides a lift I will have skid plates and sliders. Nothing else.
We are 2 adults and a 100 pound dog.
Perhaps 70 pounds of recovery gear and tools etc.

Question:
What springs do I get? I'm leaning towards
- 3" Medium load (0-110LBS additional load) for the front and
- 2" Medium Plus (0-660LBS Additional load) for the rear.

I want my on road performance to be at least as good as what it currently is and I hope to see a big improvement off road.

Currently my measurements are
FD 34 3/8
FP 34 2/8
RD 36 3/4
RP 36 3/4
and expect that after my lift the difference between front and rear would be only 1" which would be fine by me.

Alternatively I could go with the heavier rear spring which would give me a 3" lift in the back too but I don't want my ride to be to harsh.

I would appreciate it if you could weight in on this.

I am at a similar weight to yours and went with the 2inch medium load (0-660) in the rear and am pleased with it. Installed it last weekend and haven't taken it offroad yet though. Without additional weight I'd be worried about KDSS lean with 3inches in the back.

Anyone know the profile of the valving in these? Progressive, Linear or Digressive?

Since they are not pressurized I expect the valving can be changed to your preferred profile.

Had the stage 3 non kdss lift on my last trd pro that I just sold. The suspension sounded like a rusty seesaw. It rode amazingly well, but the squeaking drove me nuts. Ended up getting a crazy offer for my lunar rock pro, which prompted me to take advantage and I bought a lime rush pro. Going with a basic Westcott lift this time around.

From the above it appears your only issue from stock is the occasional scraping. The gear you describe is not onerous.

If you had a winch, aftermarket bumpers, roof tent I would say plus. Otherwise from the marketing materials the manufacturer puts out it appears you fit the medium springs

Just wondering if anyone felt the need to install extended brake lines in the rear. I didn't see anything about it on the install videos and write-ups that I looked at, but do remember the lines being a little tight.

From a manufacturer YouTube. My guess it is a linear valving. It was showing how the shock performance changed after a run through Australia Simpson Desert.

Good morning,

So I recently bought the stage 3 foam cell pro’s with heavy springs. I have a dual swingout and a hybrid front bumper with a winch, and a roof rack. I love the suspension so far but for some reason my front seams way to low, I want to level it out. Has anybody found a cheaper spanner wrench to use besides buying the one from Ironman? That just seems like a lot of money for something I will only use the one time?

Front is @ 38
Rear is @ 39.75

I don’t know of a cheaper spanner tool with the correct pin sizes / placement.

That -1.75” difference front to rear is smaller than stock, so your nose up relative to stock.

My vehicle was 2-3/8 to 2-5/8 (passenger to driver) difference stock measured from center hub to fender, and a little bit higher (driver side 3”) with a near empty gas tank.

I guess I'm just used to seeing it leveled out.

quick question on settling. I just installed stage one (2.5 front and 2.0 rear) on my '23 ORP with KDSS yesterday. I chose the coil over to be pre-build. My measurements on the front are added + 3.5 inches. That's way more than the 2.5 expected and it's on KDSS which I understand is bad to go over 3 inches. I did drive it a bit today over some rough road and a bit off-road with a few bumps. I am waiting to do an alignment on Monday.

Should I expect the settling to reduce the lift height enough to get to the 2.5 lift range? Or do I need to get the adjustment tool?

The adjustment tool shows out of stock ATM. Does anyone in the inland northwest have one that i could borrow?

Thanks.

Quick update:

Just replaced both rear shocks due to them leaking and looking like absolute garbage. Kudos to Ironman for replacing under warranty, but I have no replaced 3/4 of my shocks at 35k miles.

I just got a recall letter for the UCAs. Sounds like they will cover the cost for parts and labor. Bummer.
