Wheel Every Weekend RTT Mounts

Someone recommended these mounts... Does anyone have first-hand experience/recommendations whether to use or not?

Can’t say I have any experience but they sure look nice. They don’t mention the hardware piece that slide into the channel on bottom of RTT. It is not clear to me how that is supposed to work. Also I would disagree on nylock nut being prone to come loose. As long as you install new nylock nuts I have never experienced them wanting to come loose on anything.

thanks for the feedback.. Wondering if its worth the $180 dollars.

I guess people do get their tents stolen.

cool idea. pretty much a wheel lock for you RTT. but realistically if someone wanted it, they could just take a portable grinder and cut the bolts or that aluminum bracket in 10 seconds and steal it.

I didn’t take much note of this on the first pass the other day but took a look at this product. It’s definitely expensive, and I bought a set of CVT security nuts when I got my tent about a year ago. It comes with the exact same nut pattern and driver. That nut and socket are made by T-Groove. I’m thinking about contacting this company and seeing how much just the brackets would cost. It’s very sexy compared to the old style they mention in the video, which is what I use in combination with security nuts. The nuts themselves are a nice added security, especially between weekend trips when my tents stays on my vehicle.
