Water Rotopax on rear window molle panels?
Bad idea? Would be a great location with a GoWesty water spout. Full access while loaded up, no dust, etc.
But...weight full and the water dynamics when half full. Rago shows their kid hanging off of them.
Thoughts?

I wouldn't want 16# of water hanging up high in my rig. But then again I see people with hatchets, machete, fire extinguishers etc on molle panels. Not my idea of safe but to each their own.

Water is heavy, almost 7 pounds per gallon.
Would recommend checking how much weight the mole panels can support and make sure there’s headroom for water potentially sloshing around creating additional forces.
I suppose if Rago shows it that they’ve done the math and tried it out.

I assume you are referring to something like this? (not my photo) I would email Rago, Victory, Orange Boxx, or whoever makes molle panels and ask if they could provide a dynamic load rating.

i dont think you will incite a response from any of the manufacturers to give you a thumbs up due to liability reasons. I also don't think it will be an issue as long as you arent strapping them on with a bungee cord. dont skimp on mounting and 2 gallons of water should be ok.
