What size fish tank are you running that you need an air pump?

Or are you just trying to create positive air pressure to keep the rona virus from
settling in the runner?

In seriousness, the compressor I’m assuming you meant is going to run hot and shouldn’t be hard mounted inside the vehicle in my opinion. I would recommend doing an engine bay mount like most. Otherwise run a portable. I have the larger portable smittybuilt that has been bulletprooof and fills up 33s in a few minutes each.

It’s an Arb pump but the reason I’m doing this is because I have a bracket/ molle with a custom laser cut pattern that will hold my pump an axe and extinguisher
That I want hard mounted in the trunk area I just really want where it’s safe to bolt it in without damaging

Depends what trim 4runner you have and what ARB compressor you intend to mount.

I have seen a few folks fab a mount for the cubby hole on the passenger side. I have also seen one industrious fellow mount his in the jack compartment.

But really if you have to ask where a safe place to mount it is you might want to take it to someone to have done.

Drop the spare and look up from underneath to get a better idea.

Check out @WanderLust overland on YouTube. They mounted a compressor in the cargo area and a tank in the spare compartment
