Hey SmithRunner,
No, I couldn't justify the $991.71 expense (front and back valances also).
Right now we are saving up to get the H3LL out of California and move to Colorado in the next 2 years.
These 4Runners are so dangerous with all mods available for them.

I replaced the front lower valance (replaced silver with black) yesterday without removing the bumper. It wasn't too bad, and only took about an hour. The key was to remove the plastic cover where a skid plate would go underneath, then I was able to reach all of the clips and remove them with the bumper in place. It also helped to have the new Valance on-hand so I could see where the clips are on it, and count them. Made it alot easier to blindly feel around and remove those clips.
I'll be replacing the back valance this week, which after researching alot looks like it'll require bumper removal. Wish me luck. I'm a little nervous about taking the whole bumper off a new vehicle but I'm doing it because I don't like the look of the silver valance on my all blacked out 4Runner.

Good luck. You should've removed the front. Neither are terribly difficult, but front was a good confidence builder for the rear. Rear just seemed to be needier to me. Didn't enjoy it nearly as much

SmithRunner, that looks fantastic! I just bought the exact same vehicle this past Friday and currently want to make it look like yours.
Do you have the links to the video's you used to remove the bumpers? Like you said in the latter post, my stress level for taking apart a brand new vehicle is rising just thinking about it

the rear isn't difficult. be sure to pop the plastic cap off the hook where the rear gate attaches, then you'll have to slide it up and over the hook to remove the bumper.

Damn it! My wife was flipping thru some pictures on her iPad last night and got to one of my 4Runner and said you should order those PRO grill parts, it would look better.
Order placed.
Total cost with shipping: $843.18
Thanks again for all your help SmithRunner20! You made it as easy as copy and paste.

You can always just go the cheap route of going chinese aftermarket grills. They are not perfect but for 100 bucks why not it's going on your daily. Front valance probably will run you about $200 at a local dealer and I dipped my rear valance which came out surprising well. The front is too big to have consistent coats.

Hey Colt, Are you still here in San Diego, just got myself a 2020 TRD ORP in MG, I just ordered the TRDP garnish and upper grille. Once I get that installed, I've been debating on whether to wrap up the variance front and rear Panels in matte black. What are your thoughts on the install process for the variance panels? Im actually located here in San Diego as well. Would like to see how it turned out for you in person. Id thats chill? if not, if you can provide some pictures that would be awesome as well. Im located here in Tierrasanta off the 52fwy.

Hey Noy,
Sorry I missed this post, insanely busy at work. The garnish and upper grill were pretty easy. The valance was kind of a pain in the butt, not too bad but a pain. Check out the during and after pictures below.
Sorry again for the delay

I have a Magnetic Grey 2021 ORP. I wanted to swap the front and rear valance to matte black and was about to order the TRD pro valances I've seen here. It's hard to tell from pics, are the pieces matte black or shiny? Is there an unpainted matte black part number?
