Is it possible to add a Shock Sensor to factory "alarm"?

Have done some searching on here and can't find anything...

Has anyone wired a shock sensor to the factory alarm system?

Would love to do this...

Good question, but I would really like the glass breakage sensor. No late model tTyotas have them from the factory that I know of. . . and so do the car buglers.

I assume, that if the shock sensor works the glass sensor would too, that its the same wiring set up, just different sensors.

Somebody must have done it on here...

To me a shock sensor means a physical jolt, like being hit in a parking lot. The glass breakage is usually a microphone with some smarts.

I wouldn't complain about either.

No I agree... I am just saying if one of those sensor add ons works with our stock "alarm" system I would also assume the other would work.

In other words, they are two separate sensor systems but if there is a way to add more sensors to our system, either should work... just hoping someone on here knows

I've asked in several car stereo shops and they don't have a clue. It looks like to have to purchase a complete aftermarket alarm system. Interested to know if you find something that works with OEM alarm.
