I love my Pro but man the roof rack is uglier than a bag of smashed *******s. It wouldn’t be so bad if they just skipped on the upper fat tube on the rack and had only the single lower tube.

I’ve been looking, since I got the TRDP about 1,000 miles ago, for something to make it functional. The Baja basket is pricey and does nothing but add expensive weight and modest utility.

If the option isn’t a no-drill, drop-in, leak proof design, I’m not interested in those either. If it’s made of steel, that’s out for me as well.

Tempted to just get an all black set of side rails from Toyota and adding the cross bars of my choosing. I really wish there was a foolproof drop-in replacement.

I’d be interested in a reasonably priced wind fairing that attaches to the OEM rack but with a similar look of the BajaRack. I cant justify the cost of the drop in BajaRack as I would rather spend the money on a Gobi.

Theres a guy here who did a upper tube delete mod. Didn’t look bad at all.
