Yeah, for all the complaining some people do, it's really easy to deal with the Toyota Safety Sense stuff. Lane departure alert is easy to turn off and keep off, but there are various sensitivity settings that can help if you really must keep it on. And the collision assist is very unobtrusive. There are sensitivity levels for that, too.

Not in the USA, but I heard there's an option for it in Canada. If you're really desperate and willing to tinker, you might be able to retrofit a Canadian setup. I've never heard of anyone doing that, though.
