I have had my KM3's on for a about a year and around 20k for mileage. Happy with them. They aren't too noisy on the highway, can hear them as you slow down but not annoying. They have been run in high desert, FS roads, mud, snow, ice, lots of rain and done very well, actually don't even seem to use 4Hi much any more. The only time I wasn't happy with them was when the highway was a sheet of ice, but everyone was having issues I just went slow. Never had them aired down or felt the need to. As for weight, didn't notice any changes with it. Fuel mileage didn't drop or take a hit with them. Lots of tread life left on them and will probably get way more than I did on my Nitto's. Overall, pretty happy with them.

Is there anything specific you wanted to know?

I have just over 10,000 miles on mine. Just did my second rotation with no issues getting the tires balanced or driving straight. Tire hum is pretty consistent with where it started which I would say is on the quiet side for an AT. Tread depth is 14/32 all the way around. (18/32 new). Wet performance has been very good with no slipping on acceleration or in corners. We'll see how a full winter of snow performance goes but last year it was excellent.

Off road they have been absolutely fantastic in all conditions.

Based on what I know at 10,000 miles I would recommend them with the caveat of knowing the type of tire your getting into. But we already spoke about that I believe.

Loving the Mickey Thompson atz p3 so far.. been on 3x wheeling trips now and laid up on the sidewalls pretty good with no problems. Slight chunking but nothing atypical for what I’ve been doing. Off-road I give them the nod over the Coopers, on road seems about the same but it’s still a little soon for that.

I put the ATZs on my 4runner a couple hundred miles ago. So far only one day trip off pavement and they worked well. I have a multi-day offroad trip coming up soon and that will be real test since it's all sorts of varied terrain.

I had the Coopers on my Tundra and liked them a lot there but decided to try out the ATZs this time.

Nice. Yea I’m a big advocate for the ST Maxx, I went with the Mickeys simply cause of cost, but I don’t feel it was a downgrade at all. They’re made by Cooper in the same factory, as far as I know, and have a very similar tread.. just slightly more aggressive. It’s hard to compare wet weather performance cause I’m in a Limited with full time 4wd, so I won’t pick up on the minutia as much as sr5/trd owners would

Yeah, they're more aggressive and are indeed made by cooper with the same construction that held up to 7000 lbs of truck pounding on them in the desert at low psi over and over. It doesn't rain here to speak of so not concerned about wet weather performance in the least. I've driven vehicles through rain storms on slicks so if I get caught in one, I'll figure it out ;)

Pulled the trigger

Pulled the trigger on the STT MAXX!

Initial impressions:
  • They look amazing
  • They are fairly quite for a hybrid MT tire
  • They did great in one rain storm i've been in
  • They DO pull to the right

As previously mentioned.. they are great so far, love them! I just hope the right pull wears off. Its not bad around town but is annoying on long trips.

I've only got about 4000 miles on my 255/75 STT MAXXs, but I am very happy with them.
- On road - pretty solid, I don't have a pull to the right.
- Forest road - very good
- Snow - very happy with them thus far. only done about 400 snow miles but did well.
- beach/sand - did well, no concerns
- icy highway - little slicker than expected but didn't feel scary by any means
- have yet to have much mud or messy dirt but I imagine this is where they are best based on the tread design.

The right pull mellowed out pretty quickly for me, hopefully it will for you to. If you have a good alignment tech they might be able to compensate for some of it.

Thoroughly flogged my ST Maxxs over some of Moab’s trickier trails over the last week including Poison Spider Mesa and Metal Masher. I was impressed on how it did over dry sharp rocks and slickrock shelves. Even got some snow time while traversing trails above 9000 ft
