Suma Performance Side Mirrors
Hello guys,
I am interested in getting these mirrors.
Does anyone have experience with these? I have a 2016 limited and I would like to get the one with turn signal and defroster. Do I need to splice wires?
How does it work?
Thanks

I was gonna order from them until I read up on a lot of experiences from other people on this forum. Their product is awesome, don’t get me wrong, but enough people had massive wait times, received broken product, received wrong product, etc that I decided to pass and go with the OEM RAV4 mirrors instead.

I did the Rav4 mirrors as well. Some people have complaints about them, but the blind spot mirror is aimed well and it's functional. I like them. Still plenty of the main part of the mirror to see everything. Ordered them Tuesday and installed them yesterday.

I ordered mine Christmas Eve, and got them...last week. I said I would switch out the blue for non-tinted when they had their production issues, otherwise I would be waiting indefinitely.
However, I installed them, and they are awesome. You can see so much out of the driver’s side mirror and the in-mirror turn signals are awesome. My 4 year old made me drive around and turn at every intersection so I he could watch them.
Install wasn’t bad, considering how tight the wires in the mirror are.
It’s expensive for essentially a novelty mirror, but I would definitely order them again. I’m guessing they added at least 6 hp.

Put me down as someone they shipped the wrong mirror to... Now trying to get it returned seems fruitless.
BUYERS BEWARE!!!

It appears I am late to the party but I am happy enough with mine. I did not get the turn signal kind. The defroster plugged right in and I have had no issues otherwise. I would have liked more (any) guidance from Suma on how to adjust them, but it's not hard to figure out. I did not have any issues with delays or incorrect parts. I signed up for the "let me know when it is in stock" email, ordered when I saw the email, and received the mirrors shortly thereafter. I actually bought them for the glare reducing feature due to my commuting schedule, not the convex feature, but I like both.

Nope. I've been running them for about a year and would purchase them again.

mine seem so distorted i only left them on for a week.
the oem toyota with blindspot are the best i've used.
i also have the spotter mirrors, i have them testing now, but the oem toyota still seemed the best.

Much like JD-241 I didn't have any issues ordering or receiving mine. Was notified when they were back in stock, ordered them and within 5 days they showed up.
Doing the install this weekend and now hoping I don't experience any of this distortion others are mentioning.

I like mine
Bought on one of the first group buys, heated with turn signal. No distortion, and fixed one my peeves about the narrow mirror view I had with the stockers.
However, the old saying, "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" holds true. If it looks like a vehicle is behind you, it means it's parallel with your back bumper. You need to readjust your brain to get your lane-changing distance correct without cutting someone else off.
That said, I like mine and would do it again.
