Non-slip liner for sunglasses holder

I recently moved from a TRD OR to a Limited and was excited about the sunglasses holder. However.. my sunglasses slide around and make a noise on every turn.

Any suggestions on putting in some non-slip liner in there or other suggestions to stop sunglasses from sliding around? I can't imagine I am the only one having this issue.

Sunglasses holder?

You mean the wider slot below the cigarette pack holder? lol

I keep my glasses in there case so no sliding. However there are aftermarket rubber pads for many of the cubby holders and cup holders:

Amazon.com: CupHolderHero for Toyota 4Runner 2010-2020 Custom Liner Accessories – Premium Cup Holder, Console, and Door Pocket Inserts 27-pc Set (2 Rows of Seats) (Red Trim): Automotive

You can always cut your own rubber for it too.

The sunglasses holder is in the overhead console above the rearview mirror. The OR and Pro don't have this.

I see, my TRD does not have this. But i would always keep a lens cleaning cloth in with the glasses so it wouldn't slide around in all my other vehicles that had this. Worked great.

If you lay them on the cloth, they'll get clean by sliding around.

I have an SR5 and have the sunglass holder. I am almost positive there is a foam insert in there from the factory and the sunglasses have never slid or made a noise.

I will confirm when I get in the truck later and follow up.

Did you use glue or something else to keep it secure. Anyhting you lay flat in there will fall out when you open the holder.

Glad I am not the only one with this issue.

Put them in the microfiber bag they came with. Or cut down a kitchen mat or mouse pad (do they still make these?) and secure it with double sided tape.
