Black Valence Touch Up

What is everyone using to touch up their OE black front valence? Mine is still in good condition, but there are a few bug pecks that are showing white underneath.

Anyone have a color code that works well?

I don't have the OEM ones, but I would contact toyota to see if they have touch up pain for it.

I’ve heard of people using Plasti-dip but I’m not so sure how that would hold up through harsh weather.

You'll be surprise how well plastic dip held up.
I have the TRD OR and I plastic dip my silver valance, because I couldn't stand the silver on my black 4runner lol. But I did about 5-6 coat and it holds up very well. I'm surprise I don't have a rip yet and it's been over a year.
I think as along as you do a good amount of coat it'll be pretty sturdy.

My front clip - the fenders are bedlined. The valance has made contact with rocks and whatnot too many times to count. It's pretty chewed up but whatever. Just sand it down and add more bedliner. Pretty forgiving stuff. Surprised it's held on this long. Lost the rear one in some mud within a few months after a bought the truck. I refuse to replace something that breaks so easily. If I don't end up with steel I'll find some SR5 plastics.

Plastic dipped my ORP valences several weeks back. Less than $30 and 6/7 coats on each valence. There was a good You Tube video on the subject for ORP. Have not tested in harsh weather yet. If it does not work I can peel it off.

This. Did mine 9 months ago and they still look brand new. I live in Seattle where it shits rain all the time and I wash my car regularly and there are no scrapes or plasti chips. 6 ish coats will be perfect.

If you're worried about the the valance chipping, you should install paint protection film (clear Bra) over it.

For the emblem you can do maybe 4-5 coat just in case and you should be good.
