What is the engineering behind getting more performance from a coil pack? Don't you just need .8 mJ to make the gas ignite?

Reduces weight in the drivers wallet.

Acceleraton = Force / Mass

Reduce Mass = Increased Acceleration

It depends. With your bud dyno? I doubt it, with your transmission yes you can definitely feel it. Shifting point going smoother, fester. I just don’t understand some people who upgrade tires for larger size like 33”> , they saying “ yes I feel like I lost some HP” usually 10-15 HP of lost over bigger tires. But when they get 10-15 HP back for some reason they don’t feel anything. Hmm! Interesting

Bigger tires change the gearing (which is what you feel), but technically don't change the wheel horsepower unless you're factoring in their added mass.
