Every time I see a fuel mileage thread on any forum I want to, for lack of a more accurate term, laugh. Fuel mileage is a function of engine/motor efficiency, weight, aerodynamics, rolling resistance, and to a small degree, fuel quality. Remember, driving habits affect engine/motor efficiency, so I didn’t forget. Improve any one of those things, mileage gets better. Unless someone can prove something like the moon’s orbit or the angle of the setting sun has an impact, every post trying to ‘splain it is basically like Trump throwing paper towels to an audience and saying “I helped”. Not trying to beat up on the OP but this has been discussed ad nauseam. So has LED dome lights and many other topics.

You have LED dome lights?

The 4runner is our second best mileage 4-wheeled, street-legal vehicle.
68 F100, 13mpg
07 Ram, 16mpg
17 4runner, 17-18mpg
05 Dodge Magnum, 20mpg.
My motorcycles both get 38mpg.
No clue on the quad, but I'm certain it does the best.
I didn't buy the 4runner for the mileage. I bought it for it's ability and longevity. "As long as I do my part".
No. But if I did I would've just bought some and tried them out rather than dig through 12 threads and hundreds of posts.
