TRD Pro - sway bar rubbing on radiator support bar after lift
Guys,
This has been driving me nuts for a while. I've tried spacing out the radiator support bars, the skid plate, etc., but it still rubs. I'm lifted about 2.5 inches on kings.
Can I just remove the radiator support bars all together?
Thanks,
Chris

Look at my build thread I solved this pretty easily. These are not radiator supports they are structural supports for the front suspension. So I wouldn’t remove them.

I have Kings as well. This is a common problem even with the supplied spacers installed. I notched the drivers side brace on my rig. Mark the area you need to remove then take a rotary file and blend out the area. It does not require much. Repaint it and you are done. These things are pretty solid so don't worry about notching it. You are not going to hurt anything.

Do you have pictures of your setup? Kings, Fox and possibly Radflo have spacers to relocate the Sway Bar forward so it doesn't come in contact with the coils. I ended up removing the oem support bracket and bought an ARB kit that has a support bracket that will clear the sway bar with spacers.
Here is the thread from
@ rayofsi
that provided the information, thanks to him I was able to fix my issue:
Arb sway bar rub fix!!! Bp-51 fit kit
It's not TRD Pro specific, mine is an SR5 and have the same issue if going with Fox or Kings.

Never knew there was a sway bar rub issue with aftermarket coilovers..
What's even more amazing is for once the KDSS trucks are easier to mod than the non-KDSS!
