KDSS and Bilsteins

I plan on installing Bilstein 6112s front and 5100 rears on my 21 Off Road.

What is the difference in the KDSS Bilsteins and the non KDSS Bilsteins? I'm having trouble navigating the info on a couple of the suppliers websites.

Thinking of purchasing from ShockSurplus. They seem to have a decent deal on them

Thanks

same shocks. if you dont have a lean now, go ahead and have shock surplus set them equal height on the 6112's. we literally just did this setup from shock surplus a month ago or so on my brother in laws trail with kdss. along with the bilstein 1.5" rear spring. rides great with c rated 285/70-17 falkens. Not sure which setting he went with but he wishes he went higher lol.

See if you can find a set of used takeoffs from a Pro. That's what we did with our ORP.

I did this same combo from Shock Surplus and have been very pleased. I only raised the front to level and I went with Sumo Springs (blue) bump stops all around. I’d do it again without reservation. Running 265/70 K02’s with it.

Which setting did you use on the fronts and was it truly that height? Any settling?

just remember, the lower you keep the front, the better the ride quality. you only have x amount of down travel. so if you raise the ride height you lose down travel.
