Anyone have the Overland Depot recovery tracks?
So I was looking at maxtrax but found them on overland depot in red for 100 bucks. Does anyone have them, do they mount like maxtrax?
Also I have a question about rotopax, Are they that much better than Jerry cans? I am looking at getting a 3 gallon fuel pax and one for water and just buy the extention so I can use them on the same mount.

Assuming the Overland Depot brand will not have the same longevity as the Maxtrax, but not familiar.
Personally don’t think rotopax is necessarily better at holding fuel compared to a good jerrycan. Just the shape and mounting options are nicer. I do prefer pouring from a jerrycan compared to rotopax, but I like how flat the rotopax lays on the roof.

Wont be able to bridge like you can with maxtrax. The price comes with a superior polymer. As far a mounting idk.
Rotopax vs jerry cans seems to be a personal preference. Don't think either is a bad choice just depends where you want to put em.

Rotopax size is nice but it expands alot even when you vent them. I use a siphon from the roofrack so I never have to pour it.

Apparently Rotopax came out with their own brand of trax called the Rototrax. $99 intro price for the black color. Made in USA and mounts with their existing system as well. They say its made from the same type of plastic their rotopax are made from but not sure if they made any other modifications to make it durable enough for bridging or wheel spin. Interesting option at least.

If I could get a fuel and their trax on the rear bumper I would be interested.

They sure do look a lot like XBulls. My black XBulls were $45 shipped free with no tax.
Edit: Well I looked again and they are somewhat different. Certainly not going to be a Maxtrax. XBull's didn't do too bad if you watch some YouTube video reviews of them.
