Well one of the use cases for sliders is also a jacking point. I use my hi lift relatively frequently to self recover. Lift the truck up, fill in holes with Maxtrax or rocks and drive out. Greenlane explicitly says that their sliders cant do this so that is a dis qualifier for me

Same. They were off the list immediately, though I would have liked to save some weight.

Sure says alot on how structurally weak they must be to not even handle a jackpoint off them.

Hmmm. Didn’t really know any of that. I can say I’ve used my floor jack on either side, off the gusset of these things when swapping to change snow tires for clearance issues in the garage. I certainly didn’t hear any creaking or otherwise off the frame plates or from the bolts LoL. But maybe depends on where you are grabbing off these I don’t know… maybe I’ll stop doing that now then!

Are yours flat or angled? Do you have any other pictures? Trying to determine which ones I want to get

Yes they are angled up. I thought that is the better option both in terms of look and intended function. I’ve certainly had to drive out of a Starbucks drive through due to impatience so ground clearance is important while curb hopping Greenlane off-road aluminum sliders

Anyway, they work just as well for me as far as a step surface goes but of course they are slightly higher than the OEM plastic so there’s that consideration I guess.
