Shrockworks Rear Swingout Measurement

Does anyone have the Shrockworks rear bumper with jerry can holder? I'm trying to understand what the clearance measurement is between the holder and the rear hatch for a ladder.

I know they work with the Gobi, but I'm running a Greenlane ladder. I emailed them, and they don't have a drawing, a dimension, and apparently no one that works there has a 4runner or they aren't willing to measure. Kind of shocked me to be honest.

Seems like you have your answer. Apparently they don't want your business. Good to know before you have money involved. How do you think they would react if you have problems with their product? I'd look elsewhere.

Staring at the hatch, on the left side of the holder you got 5” to the frame of the swing out, then on the right hand side it’s 4.75” because of the curvature of the hatch.

If you’re thinking of a SW rear, don’t hesitate. These things are stout. Had mine for 5 months now and I have 0 regrets. Mark @ SW was awesome to deal with. Because of that I’m goin with a full sw setup on my 3rd gen.

Thanks @RustyAb ... So there is 5" of clearance on the drivers side roughly the entire height of the swing out? I'll measure my ladder and report back. Unfortunately Mark was the one I was speaking to. I'm very surprised they don't have this measurement.

Here is what I have from the two spots I'm measuring.

Judging by those pictures I don’t think it will work. Let me take some pics tomorrow with the measuring tape so you can visualize better. Too bad cause I have been debating the Greenlane ladder for a while. I think the only other option for me would be the Gobi. The c4 and Victory ladders just aren’t visually pleasing to me (to put it politely) lol.

Here are some pictures sorry I totally forgot yesterday.to me I think the bottom plate of the ladder sticks out too far on the ‘passenger side’ of the base.

Thanks. I would tend to agree with you. Not going to work.

I like the base plate on the Greenlane ladder and it works perfectly with my Rhino platform so I'll likely go with a split swing out design like Victory.
