hey all, just wanted to do a write up about this wheel replacement. let me know if you have any questions and i'll try and answer.
(disclaimer: i am a simple man with a fancy set of calipers, not an automotive engineer. please take my information with a grain of salt.)
install is easy. swapping from one steering wheel to another.
zero instructions. use trail4r's guide.
fit and finish is surprisingly good, with some steel casting ground down and cleaner than OEM.
there doesn't seem to be anything different to me between the wheel i purchased for $250 versus the one for $450 on cartrimhome, aside from subtle shape differences. feel free to correct me.
all photos will be OEM top, eBay bottom.

as you can see, the casting on the OEM leaves much to be desired in terms of an end product. rough edges and burrs all over the place, seemingly untouched by any sanding/finishing after the initial casting.
Spline Measurements (OEM top, eBay bottom)
-Most notable difference you're going to find here is the spline depth, with the eBay wheel being almost .01" shallower than OEM. from what i can tell, no difference in installation or play in wheel. assuming this is within mfg. spec.
