I know I know another 5100's question

4runner noob here and have been researching this for the last few on getting my 5100's installed soon and have two questions where i could use the community's feedback and expertise!

1. for the front I would like to level it out, do i set the snap ring on the second slot from the bottom, currently running factory tries for the time being which are 265/70R17. (changing out to a different tire size is not going to happen as of yet as the tires have 100 miles on them at the moment - dealer installed them )

2. i have a third row 4runner which im not sure if i need a rear spacer here do to the extra weight? as in question 1 looking to level our the 4runner. do I just run it with rear 5100's with no spacer? do i add a corn fed spacer with the 5100's to get the truck level and not much of a lift.

4runner noob here and have been researching this for the last few weeks now. front setting i feel im good on, the rear with a third row i couldn't find much on that .

any feedback would be great here or experience.

I did 0.85 with air bags in the rear at minimum pressure. Almost level as in photo. 1.75 may be a better level but any load and you will need the air bags. Not sure if spacers would be wanted for 1.5.

The bottom slot is the same as stock and won't lift at all.

The next slot up will raise the front approx. 0.85" and almost level it while still having a very slight forward rake (front slightly lower than rear). This would be my preferred setting as with the rear still being slightly higher you can load it up some without having a reverse rake. Here's a thread with pics of T4R's with that setting:
Bilstein 5100 - .85 Pic`s

The next slot up will raise the front approx. 1.75". Some say it will be perfectly level while others have reported that the front may be slightly higher than the rear. If I were to put mine at that setting then I would use a spacer in the rear as I personally don't ever want the front to be higher than the rear (with typical use and loads).

To give you some perspective,

I have a 2.5" lift in the front, and a 1.5" in the rear with third row seats.

Front hub measurements are 22.5"
Rear hub measurements are 22.75"

With the third row, I am pretty much level but with things in the trunk I am at reverse rake.

0.85" in the front is perfect with third row seats since a 4Runner without third row seats would still have an inch of rake with my lift.

I’m at .85 with stock rear and while it was perfect for 265s and an unloaded rear, the moment I put the 275 K02s on I wished I had done 1.75 with a 1in lift spring in the rear.

The other very minor nuisance is the driver side lean you end up with, without any form of compensation for it.

As a result, as much as it hurts, I’m looking at swapping to 6112s up front as they have 7 notches with smaller increments that enable you to level the front side to side by staggering the drivers side 1-2 notches higher than the passenger side.
