Does this help? Quick cellphone pics.

I am *almost* certain it was this one:

5/16" x 4-5/8" Stainless Steel Jaw x Jaw Turnbuckle
Part No.: 51608615

5/16" x 4-5/8" Stainless Steel Jaw x Jaw Turnbuckle

I can't find the receipt in my email. Here's a pic if that helps:

Please let us know the part number used. Did you just tighten them down until snug or put quite a bit of torque in them to finally stop the squeeking?

I just tightened them all the way. Didn't put any real torque on them, but they are tight. Haven't touched them since.

Been looking for JUST this sort of thing. Ordered one and the 25% is just gravy.
Just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the big name stuff (Goose, ARB, Dobbinsons etc.) That said, I do plan to install this box on a Goose Gear Plate...
Their price for the drawer sets VS what it seems I was getting...this is a win for me for sure!

Thanks for the heads up!!

Sorry to ask again but can u still recline the rear seats? Is the divider in the drawer movable or removable? Is the drawer big enough for a rifle or shotguns?

If you look at the one picture from the side, you can see the guide for the seat recline. It looks as though it reclines about 80%. I never sat in the back, so I really don't know how much further it will recline. With the box in, there is no way for me to know.

The divider doesn't look to be removable.

Depending on the shotgun, yes. I have a few short barrel police model shotguns that fit lengthwise. None of my bird guns. None of my deer rifles. All of my ARs with 16" barrels and collapsable stocks fit easily. My Ruger Precision fits if I collapse the stock. All out of the cases, of course. My AR with a 26" barrel and Magpul fixed stock does not. Never tried to fit my bow.

Btw, I only got one key. It was easy enough to get copies at my local locksmith.

The box they are shipping for the 4runner now has a removable divider and comes with 2 keys.

I had an inspiration as I was pulling out my $242 Smittybuilt Storage Vault and replacing it with a $40 Rothco Duffel Bag.

Vault:

Duffel:

Why not use pistol cable locks to secure my duffel bag to the cargo hold?
I got a ton of them floating around the house!!!

Looky there no more squeaking turnbuckles!

I've had the strongbox installed for a few days and here are some notes:

1. I received the drawer just 5 days after I ordered. Shipping only took a couple days - probably because we are both in SoCal.

2. There's JUST enough room to access the jack compartment on the driver's side. I was able to take the jack out by using the right angles.

3. Installation straight forward. The fit and finish is pretty nice. Side wings don't perfectly contour the side panels, but that doesn't bother me much.

4. When I initially positioned the box, I made sure to leave enough room for the back seats to recline to the last position. Problem is that when you tighten the turnbuckles all the way it starts going toward the seats. Now I can only recline 2 notches instead of 4 (or 5, can't remember). It would be nice if the front/side turnbuckle mounts could be slightly repositioned toward the front of the car.

5. To my surprise it's not noisy. I only noticed the metal tapping noise over very bumpy roads and potholes. Even then it's not very noticeable. I do plan on adding some CLD tiles to the inner panels and drawer to reduce vibrations.

6. Speaking of drawer - the lock/knob is easy to operate and the drawer slide is smooth. It does come with a slide stop but it doesn't always stop the drawer from coming out all the way. I might need to bend it outwards so there is more friction to stop the drawer from opening 100%

7. Overall I think it is a great value. I was looking at almost all other options but had a hard time spending over 1k. This was right at the mark for my budget and I'm glad I got it!
