Another vote for barcelona red with the blue a close second.
4Runner colors in general are boring and you do not see either of those anywhere near as often as the flood of white, black, silver, and to a lesser extent magnetic gray...
Just one more reason I got my AG .

Ultimately that's why I bought mine in silver as well. I would have gone with silver or white for that reason, even though I REALLY wanted the red (my 3rd Gen is Sunfire Red). Red hides pinstripes surprisingly well too, but not as much as silver or white. I really like how red pops in traffic though.

Even though it has the lowest count in the poll right now, notice that silver is the only one represented in the pics so far. Just sayin'.

I used to hate silver cars as well, but am absolutely in love with my silver ORP. If I had to choose again though, I would have went with Barcelona Red, I just feel like I see less red ones on the road than any other color.

I had a red truck back in '84, but I went blue this time.
Nautical Blue is nice if your area isn't too hot. You get a cool blue in the daylight and near black in the shadows or at night.

I have no problem with battle scars from adventures, but I would think the paint would hold up better when brushed by a plastic shopping bag.

yep. the black is ridiculously shitty. The thing about a plastic bag scratching it is real. and every time you scratch it, white shows through.
