Air Locker w/ A-TRAC/CRAWL

Going to be re-gearing here soon and throwing in a front locker, and it got me thinking about things like the CRAWL and A-TRAC features. Are these systems affected in anyway with a front locker?

I know the A-TRAC is based on tire slippage, so I'm assuming IF I put on A-TRAC for whatever reason, it simply would just not work because there wouldn't be a tire slipping?

CRAWL however is crawl, and while not a true crawl system, I'm assuming it would still function exactly like it would without the locker?

Am I right on this? Or am I going to be experience all sorts of Christmas Tree fun on the dash?

ATRAC simply wouldn't be triggered up front with the locker engaged and mall control would still work fine since it still reads your speed.

These systems are 'slip' based.. i.e. they function/ intervene only when the vehicle senses a tire slip

A mechanical locker when engaged will not allow for slip, so it should not engage

You can test this with crawl control and rear diff engaged l, it will not modulate any of the rear wheels individually as they are spinning locked together

I don't have a front locker, but have an ARB in the rear and ATRAC combined with that works pretty well. There will be plenty of situations that you won't be able to engage the front locker and the atrac will help. Turning with the front locked in tight areas is no fun either from what most people have said. So you will still be able to use the atrac at certain times. I would think that if the front is locked you definitely want to turn atrac off, as it would just fight the locker if and when slippage does happen.
