Snorkel and sliders arrived today. Skids have shipped and just waiting on shipping notice for the suspension.

Was going to powder coat the sliders but lots of good info on this forum has made me go with painting them myself for future wear and tear touch ups. Thank you @SOcalTRAIL for the info in the below thread

Paint or powdercoat sliders?

After reading this thread and being I live near the mountains had to add the Sasquatch switch for my light bar. Thank you @blacksheep4 for helping me spend more money.

I just received my C4 Fab sliders on Friday, and will be dropping them off to be powder-coated tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to seeing how yours turn out!

Will post pics once completed, originally I was going to have them powder coated however after a bunch of reading, it seems that powder coating cannot be touched up easily compared to if I just use a rattle can of rustoleum bedliner. I will probably need to touch mine up yearly.

I would recommend getting them at least sand blasted. I spent the better part of 6 hours sanding them to get the mill scale off.

I read similar things as you had about powdercoating them. Both here and jeep forums. After having my paint crinkle after the last coat (don't ask). I opted for power coat. I think I will see how touching them up goes. But you could always paint over the entire powder coat. Scuff and spray, it should stick.

They cleaned up pretty quick about an hr and a half with the acetone and scuffing them up a bit. Used 2 cans of etching primer and 2 cans of the rustoleum bedliner on the first slider. Will do the next one tomorrow, am happy with how the first one turned out.

New tires rims just arrived, and lift kit is late showing up so another 2 weeks before I see it. Now just deciding on if I can stuff them under the vehicle with minimum rubbing for 2 weeks, to save on my winter tires, or just drive with the winter tires and add the sliders and skids, being I want to do something with this vehicle while waiting.

Tires went on today, to save wear/tear on my winters, drove great, had to remove front mud flaps and push forward the inner fender lining. It rubs a bit at the front going in reverse and cranking the wheel, is what it is until my lift arrives. Liking the look of the rims.
