Buzzing/Vibrating under dash. Any ideas?

For the past few weeks my 4Runner has been making the most annoying buzzing noise from the lower dash/steering wheel area. The noise starts around 70 mph and is at its worst around 75. I have tried multiple solutions and cannot solve it. Tires rotated and balanced and didn't make a difference. Today I took the entire lower dash off and tried to feel around for the vibration. Since it only happens at high speeds it has been very hard to diagnose. It also is not as loud when I pull down on the steering wheel. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!

Here's a video of the noise:

It's the plastic side panels supporting your steering wheel. Probably the left side. I'm not sure exactly how to explain it but its part of your steering wheel (not the wheel itself).

I get the same/similar sound in mine coming from the lower left panel area. Only happens once in a while and lasts a day or so then goes away.
Hasn’t bothered me enough to take it apart yet, but it will one day.
Mine sounds almost metallic, more metal rattling than plastic.

buzzing noise? Is the noise coming from your door speaker? My old truck had a periodic buzzing coming through the speakers that matched engine RPM. I assumed an electrical gremlin and I never had the desire to put the time into running it down.

That would make the most sense. I was able to grab on to the steering shaft and did not feel any vibration so figured it may be in the wheel. Do you have any suggestions on how to access that? Does it require removing the entire steering wheel?

I posted a thread several weeks ago titled Mildly Annoying Vibration. If you get a moment, check that out and see if it's similar? Mine doesn't have audio.
