Hey all! If you have a 2020 4Runner and have been looking for a mount tray solution for your Switch Pro 9100, SD Offroad MT has come up with a great solution. I needed one myself and assisted them with some measurements to help get one made, and am very happy with the final product. Just wanted to share some install photos of the new Tray.
To purchase one, you can contact SD_Offroad on the forums here or via IG, @sdoffroadmt
New Mount Tray
The reason for a new one is the 2020's have the relay box in the spot that most Trays would normally fit right into
There are 2 bolts holding in the relay box. Remove the relay box and remove the bracket as you will need to make a cut or 2. You will need to use a Dremel to cut off the little hook on the right side. The left side, it is up to you to decide if you want to cut and shave down. I will explain in a min.
The reason the left side is optional is you can have that portion of the bracket between the mount tray and the fender OR you can have it insert between the tray and the bolt.
Photo below is how it will look if the bracket is behind the mount. A friend of mine did it this way and seems solid.
I opted to have the bracket between the mount and the bolt like below and I felt it seemed more flush and solid to do it that way.
In order to do so, you will need to cut and shave down the left portion of the bracket so the SP can fit properly onto the mount.
If you want to run a fuse block, the terminal block will be mounted to the rear of the mount.
I am not running a fuse block (only the terminal block), so this is how my final install looks.
There is also a support bracket on the left side of the mount that attaches to the fender which helps keep it solid.
Let me know if anyone has questions but me and my 2 other buddies are very happy with the way this tray turned out!
