Wrapped my 2020 in cement
Well, not exactly “cement”, but close. It’s actually KPMF Chalk White. I really wanted a factory cement color but as you know it’s not available in the 4Runner for 2020. I do a fair amount of desert trails so I was looking for a way to minimize the desert pinstriping. While not foolproof, the wrap is coated with ceramic and a protectfilm in specific areas. (Clear bra). I also upgraded to the tubular Icon stage 7 suspension which I’m anxious to break in this weekend!

I'm interested in a wrap because my stock color looks amazing when clean, but I live next to a horse path, so it's NEVER clean. I think a wrap would be a nice solution.

a full wrap like this is around $3k - 3.5K not including the ceramic, but it really depends on the shop. The company I used was extremely detailed and dismantled bumpers, lights, door handles, mirrors, etc. It was quite the project. Took them almost 2 weeks.

Looks amazing... Expensive for that stuff, but definitely worth it... now you have one of a kind 4Runner. Love that sticker beer runner 😂

That is cheap for the amount of labor. Obviously different market rates but shops in the NYC metro area charge about 50% more.

That looks real nice, but the icing on the cake would be if you had them wrap your rear Toyota badge and 4Runner letters to match

Curious as to how Vinyl wrap holds up to tree branch pin striping? Even with Ceramic.

the stuff is pretty tough BUT I mean that is what it is generally for, to protect your factory paint. It won't pinstripe the same as paint, it will still pinstripe. It is possible to cut the vinyl too if the offending pinstriper is sharp enough, like ie juniper bush. No detail expert here, but having vinyl on my truck I can say you really can't "buff" it out of vinyl like you would in a clear coat or single stage paint.
