RHD passenger side mirror
I have a regular US LHD 4Runner (like almost everyone else here).
What I want is a OEM convex passenger side mirror from a RHD vehicle to put in the driver side of my 4Runner. I would like to have the heating element as well. I dont need the blind spot mirror, blue tint, blinker, etc
I know the Rav4 has the same mirrors as the 4Runner, are there any other vehicles that use the same mirror. Does something like this exist? How would I find a part number for this?

So a RH replacement glass won't fit in the LH side? The size and shape look the same; however, I don't know if they attach the same way. I thought it would fit if turned the right way.

I think you are misunderstanding what I want to do.
on an american 4Runner the driver side mirror is a regular flat mirror. The passenger side is a convex mirror, it allows you to see a little more area of the reflection at the cost of being slightly distorted, this is why it says "objects are closer than they appear"... I assume a RHD (Japanese) vehicle would be the same, but since the driver is on the right side that would put the convex mirror on the left. Thats what I want to buy.
I have a cargo ceiling net which blocks most of my rear view, and I also pull a small trailer sometimes. With a convex mirror I would be able to see a little better out of my driver side mirror. It would help with cars in your blind spot. Im not sure but I think I might be able to see my tires when I back up too.
If they make a RHD mirror that fits our 4Runners that would be cheap and simple. Then I dont have to spend $150 on suma mirrors, or get the Rav4 blind spot mirrors which Im not a huge fan of.
This video is a good example of what I'm talking about

Well I think I understand! If the right hand side convex mirror insert would fit in the drivers side mirror housing - that would solve the problem - right? Surely people break that mirror insert and have to replace it - so a part should be available without having to get the whole assy. If so, then you could get one to put in your drivers side. If nothing else, you could attach it over your existing flat one.

basically id like to save time and money and just get the driver side mirror if that's possible

RHD passenger side mirror
Wikipedia says :
As of 2014, the 4Runner is sold in the United States, Bolivia, Canada, Central America, Bahamas, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Venezuela.
I think the last 4 countries are RHD cars. I would start with them.

Only the Bahamas is RHD. But their 4runners are LHD.
I believe all 4Runners are LHD. When they are in RHD countries they are just imported.

Yes I see that. I have considered getting the Suma mirrors. I followed their initial group buy thread. They are also $150
I would rather just replace one mirror, with an OEM mirror, for hopefully around $45. Toyota uses the same parts for many of their vehicles, its highly likely this is possible I just have to find the part number. I was just hoping someone already knew, or knew a RHD vehicle that uses the same mirror to point me in the right direction.
If thats not possible then I will probably end up getting the Suma mirrors.

After a little digging... Here are the P/Ns for the European market RAV4 mirror:
87961-42B70
87961-42B80
87961-42B90
87961-42D90
MIRROR for Toyota RAV4 ZSA44L-ANFGPW (1510- ), Europe market, 2015/10 | ZSA44 3ZRFAE MTM JPP, Part codes: 8796142B70,8796142B90,8796142B70,8796142B80,879614 2B70,8796142B90,8796142B70,8796142B80,8796142B90,8 796142B70,8796142B80,8796142B90,8796142B70,8796142 B80,8796142B90,8796142B80,8796142B90,8796142D90,87 96142B70,8796142D90,8796142B70,8796142D90,8796142B 70,8796142D90,8796142B70
42x90 mirrors have blind spot monitor which obviously isn't needed on a 4Runner. Only difference between 42B70 and 42B80 I see listed is hydrophillic coating on 42B80. Maybe reach out to Toyota UK or Toyota Europe to clarify.
I found some pics of 42B80 on Toyota UK's ebay page here:
Genuine Toyota RAV4 N/S Wing Mirror Glass 2012- 8796142B80 | eBay
Cross referencing that P/N with generic collision parts indicates it is indeed convex and heatable.

I like the idea of that Suma mirror. It looks like a solid product and the cost is reasonable.
But what I do is the outward mirror adjustment technique to minimize blind spots.
Maybe try this until your convex one is delivered.
“To properly adjust your side view mirrors:
-Lean to the left and rest your head on the window. Adjust the driver’s side view mirror so only a sliver of your car’s side is visible from this position.
-Lean to the right toward the center console and set the passenger’s side view mirror so you can barely see the side of your car from this position.”
