Any before/after measurements or actual lift numbers?
I went with Nitro shocks and have no regrets. Talked to Chris Wagner @ Ironman and after we talked he actually suggested Nitros for my use. I went with Medium springs front and rear as we will be adding a bumper and winch on the front and we tow a Smittybilt Scout trailer with it also. I didn't use spacers nor did I get before and after measurements wish I had now.

Looks great! I went with Medium springs with little extra weight (sliders, some recovery gear & tools). The ride is great unloaded and gives a little extra height for towing. I’m thinking about a hidden winch. Let me know if you see any measurable drop with extra weight up front.

September update: 2.5 months in & ride continues to feel planted, stable and sporty.
Took measurements and confirmed no additional settling.
Washed her up and took a few pics from different angles. Perhaps will help someone down the road know what to expect with this lift.

Did you have any errors after doing the install? I just did the same install and am getting the VSC error. Did you have any similar issues?

Fortunately, no VSC issues here after lift.

@Run_Forrest_Run - Great looking setup. I'm interested in the Ironman Nitro setup as well but was a little worried about the stiff spring rates at 669lbs/in and 280lbs/in. Can you say how much firmer than stock they feel to you? Are you carrying anything in the rear?

I carry @100 lbs of tools and towing equipment.
The ride is a world of difference. It went from driving like a station wagon to driving like a proper 4x4. It’s not too stiff in my opinion, just very stable. Not harsh, but firm. If I did it again, I might go with the A springs for rear. I like the rake, but would be perfect if it was 1/2” lower in back. That said, I’m very happy with the result. I would not spend any more to replace rear springs. Hope this helps- Good luck!

Your thread has been super helpful and I've just bought a nitro kit for my 07. I got the 1.5" A rated rear coils since I don't have any bumpers, RTT, etc. I was also worried about the 8xx lb front performance spring but found the FJ coils have much lower spring rates. You have the B FJ coil at 660 lb so how do you like that up front? When you hit speed bumps or pot holes how would you describe the car reacts to it? I'm debating the A or B FJ coil up front and since the 4th gens are a little lighter than the 5th I'm leaning towards the A. Thanks for all your pics and write ups!

Congrats! I like my ride, can’t imagine 8xx lb coils... When I hit bumps, it’s firm vs getting soaked up. I’m sure the shock plays a part. The rear feels firmer than the front over speed bumps. Sounds like you will be happy with A’s in the rear. For your front coils, I suggest you choose A for comfort, B for little higher lift if you’re good with firmer feel. Hope this helps.

November, 5 month update:
Checked measurements last week with Ironman performance B springs and found the front settled (-.25”) to 2.75”. Rear was still holding at 2.5”. The large OEM rake was just not quite right to my eye..... So... Black Friday deals brought me a set of RRW RR2-V wheels and OME 2895E rear spring replacements. OME’s dropped rear down to a 2” lift.
Now sitting at 2.75” in the front with IM & 2” in the rear with OME. Visually still have a slight rake & much better balance to my eye.
Got out on some BLM roads on a day hike and very happy with the result.

Looks good. I just installed my IM lift but haven't taken pics yet. The front seems higher than I anticipated. I went with the TOYO55B up front and TOYO56A in the rear.

@Run Forrest Run
Like you, I've been reading and researching for months. I've gone full nerd and have a spreadsheet with spring rates from OME, Ironman, and Dobinsons.

One thing that stood out is the Ironman front coils are a lot higher rate than others. I'm wondering how that translates into ride quality..? I'm not sure how their dampers deal with the higher rates. It appears the OME philosophy is to use the same rate and make the spring longer for the most part.

I had been looking at the 65ABC front coils, but they may be too high of a rate. Might have to plot the 55s to see how they fall.

The more I get into it the more confusing it gets.

Most of us stick with A or B Front and Rear. Would be good to get your measurements before and after lift from center hub to wheel well. Hindsight, I would have tried A in the rear but I ended up changing to OME 895E due to overwhelming lift height info available on those.

I know your type... analysis paralysis...
I’m very happy with IM, just wanted slightly less rake with rear OMEs. Good luck, but remember all of the thinking and coil rate spreadsheet specs are splitting hairs over fractions of inches. Whatever you choose, you will be much happier compared to OEM ride.
