Where does this go?

So I was taking off the panel to the left of steering wheel (kick panel and then the panel thats held on by screw that goes by dead panel) and this came off somewhere. Any ideas on where it goes? A pic of it being on as it should be would be awesome.

99% sure this goes on the long panel that covers the door sill and transitions up to the kick panel area by the parking brake.

The metal clip goes on the weather seal and clips onto the tab on the backside of the kick panel. Here is a picture showing it attached to the seal and the tab.

Thanks! I knew it was somewhere in that area considering that’s where I found it. Maybe I just pulled too hard.
