Which Winch for Victory Blitz Bumper

OK Guys. I pulled the trigger and ordered a Victory Blitz Bumper this morning. Now I have to decide which winch to get for it. I have been reading reviews for a week now and like a Safe everyone has the best. What are your opinion on type and strength needed for a Gen5 T4R. Warn Zeon/VR, Smittybilt X20, or?
Thanks, Static

I have the tigershark 9500 in the my Victory 4x4 blitz. Fits pretty well, make sure you bend that transmission line back that they address in the directions. I can reach all the controls/clutch from the openings, however, i will probably make a cut out in the radiator cover to make it a little easier.

I only have experience with Warn. Solid product without issues. Haven’t run a smittybilt so can’t comment on the brand. I think the general sentiment is to have a 10k winch if you’re armored up.

Thanks Guy's. They all seem to go on sale except Warn. Maybe that's a clue to reliability.

A synthetic line is definitely lighter but I don’t know if longevity and strength are the same you can always switch it out later

Synthetic. Significantly less dangerous. But doesnt do great if its rubbing on rocks and youll need to clean it after a trip (especially sand). But id rather have to clean it 1000 times than have a steel line snap once. Plus its easier to handle

I know when I use to work the Boom Trucks always had synthetic and the small lift cranes on the truck were cable. However when I retired they were replacing the cable one with synthetic due to poor spoolin's, kinks, etc.

Have had a victory aluminum blitz installed for about 9 months with a Smittybilt Xo2 12K with synthetic rope and Factor 55 Flat link. Have used it about 8-10 times. O issues.
Only thing I did was to relocate the solenoid up and off the winch. Mounted it to a plate that hangs where the horns bolted up. Using CE Auto Electric AGW2 cables instead of the stock AGW4. (NO affiliation, just a great set of quality cables)
The cables don't get near as hot now. Love the bumper and the winch.

Can't go wrong with Warn. I'd also look into Superwinch and Come-Up. While I haven't heard too many bad things about the Smittybilt winches their brand is just synonymous with cheap junk. Their winches might be the best thing they carry but I just don't like the brand itself because of all the other low quality products they make.
