In your owners manual it list all the fuses and locations. BTW..... It's just a power outlet and not a cigarette lighter I do believe.

Welcome to the forum!

There's also a fuse up under the dash in the driver's footwell. Labeled : P OUTLET.

You know they only work with the ignition-on, right? At least they come that way.

Yep, I've owned my 2011 SR5 for a year now - my fuse for those outlets have blown twice (as mentioned in previous posts its probably your fuse in the cabin). I mentioned this to the dealer last time I was in and the service fella said that with the Toyota's, when you plug 'older' items in the the chargers it blows it - not sure if this is the case or not. I now carry extras in the console in case I need them...

Well tell us what you've done so far?
Last time you said you couldn't find the fuse.
Swapped in known good fuses in the two locations?

Hi radams, (welcome aboard the t4r forums)!

Your Post header says "06 4Runner power outlets" which belongs to the Gen four 4Runner group. I don't have that wiring plot but I do have the Gen 5 4Runner wiring sheets; "See below":

It should be very close in wiring components and it's scheme. The BLUE arrows represent the three 12V P-outlet sockets in the vehicle. The RED arrow acknowledges the 12V power outlet junction box which feeds the 120V inverter in the rear cargo area. The pointer hand above the arrows acknowledges the 15A fuse labeled: P-Outlet as noted by @Antman in his above post! The other pointer hand is pointing to the driver-side fusebox.

If you check the 15A fuse and find that it's not blown, then you need to check for 12 volts at the fuse terminal which gets fed from ACC and IG1 relays at the D/S fusebox... we can look into that at a later time should you find that the fuse is good!

Cool Radio presets and power outlets

My 2014 is have two issues, the radio resets when turning the key off and none of the power outlets work.
Could this be fuses or would I have a bigger issue?

Reviving this thread with a similar problem. I have the same issue on a 2014 TEP.

I brought it on myself doing the USB relocation from the console to the glovebox that's been well documented here. I moved the USB to plug in my old iPod (which works), but knocked out the power to all plugs up front (Power plug in front and center consoles and USB's). As part of this relocation I added two USB plugs: one in the void in the console and one in the Party mode button location. To power the two USB's I used one of these on the power wire feeding the console power outlet and then split the wire to go to each of the two USB's. I pig tailed the two USB grounds together and used a bolt in the console for a ground. Could this be the problem?

I was in the middle of the move when I noticed the power was out and unconnected everything and still had no power, so I figured it was a fuse and put it all back together. The 15 Amp P Outlet fuse looked ok, but I change it anyway and still nothing.

I haven't checked the rear outlet, but I do get lights on the 400W switch in the dash when I hit the button.

Smile It's definitely P: Outlet. Thank You!

Thanks it was P Outlet on my 2014 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Prem.

Also I heard people replacing the P Outlet with 20 amp instead of 15 amp since Cig Lighters tend to be used in a lot of situations. Any opinions on upgrading to 20 amp on that?

Also I just replaced with it some mini fuse that came with the hard-wiring kit i bought for my dashcams. So we don't technically have to buy fuses from Toyota? Are there high quality fuses or are they all the same?
