Rear wiper blade replacement

Well I have done a lot of searching around for my question, and I have not seen it addressed.

I can remove the rear wiper, but my question is about a replacement.

None of the blades sold for the 4Runner at the local box stores (haven't been to dealer) have the lump/fitting/spacer/whatever it is on the blade, it seems to help the blade tuck up in there in the spoiler in the OFF position.

I have not seen this addressed, is it absolutely necessary to have that piece, or will a box store replacement blade without that thing on it work just fine?

Any help appreciated, namsag.

DO NOT GET RID OF THE OEM WIPERS.

Easiest place to source them is the local Toyota dealership or buy online if you have to.

All the OEM blades have replaceable inserts and they will last farrrrrrrrr longer than anything aftermarket.

And yes, none of the aftermarket rear wipers will come with the stop so they will never stow correctly.

Luckily in encountered this issue before I had gotten rid of any of the oem blades. Now I just grab the inserts once a year.
