2013 Radio Upgrade

Hi Guys,

I have. 2013 SR5, nav no jbl and want to change my head unit to something new. If I don't care about keeping the steering wheel controls but want to retain the backup camera and the stock USB plug, other than the radio and the bezel what else do I need to buy? I would like a plug and play harness, but is unclear if just a harness will get me where I want to be or do I have to buy the Maestro box?

Mario

Very doable these days, just not necessarily as cheap/easy as it used to be to throw a new head unit in a 90s Honda.

Check out the new Pioneer units through Crutchfield or a local car audio shop and be prepared to drop a non-insignificant amount of money.

You can use crutchfield and they should give you a list of all the harnesses you need. I don't believe it will be just one harness. I'm getting that by the time you add up all the harnesses, you'll be at at least half the cost of the maestro RR plus a T02 harness. Maestro makes it slightly easier and it's nice to retain stock functions plus get the OBD2 readouts.
