Question on OME 3” 885/889 susp/lift kit

I’m about to pull the trigger on an OME 3” suspension/lift kit for my ‘17 SR5. Other then a stiffer ride quality, what are the disadvantages to running the medium springs (885/889) rated for 70-180 lbs of additional weight over stock configuration before adding additional gear/weight later down the road? I currently only have an ARB air locker and compressor as far as mods, but I’m planning on getting full RCI skid plates, Sherpa roof rack, roof top tent, SSO low profile aluminum bumper and winch little by little in the future.

TIA for the responses!

You may have a taller static ride height without the added weight

I almost went with Bilstein/OME (885/895E) lift but ended up going with Ironman which gave me 3”/2.5”. My medium ‘performance’ springs are slightly heavier coil rate than OME. Other than sliders, I am all stock. I can say my T4R drives like a truck now vs a station wagon. Not harsh, but not soft. It is stable and planted in turns and when braking. If that is what you are after, my vote is for medium springs.
