I have same issue. I did the lift in October, let it settle fore a few weeks short trips to grocery store around the corner type of driving then took it in for an alignment. No pull prior or at least not to the right. Here are my numbers: 5th Gen Alignment After Lift Pulls Right : 4Runner

Alignment done at a local North Atlanta Toyota dealership, was thinking of going to my local 4wheelparts shop thinking they deal with lifted vehicles and will do a better job.

Any feedback based upon my numbers would be appreciated.

I知 on about 6 different alignments. 3 or 4 tire balancing and still not riding smooth. Road force on all tires is good. I give up... just gonna ride it as is until the tires wear out like crap and gonna change my wheels and change tire brand. The pull got slightly better but still pulling. Have tried cross rotating every single tire.

I wonder if those of us who all pull to the right all have a lift. Does it pull when stock from the factory? I have often thought that perhaps this is related to the rear lift and the track bar that causes the whole rear axle to shift to the right when the rear is lifted. Maybe it is this thrust angle from rear causing this issue. Also, for the naysayers it is not crown of the road when we can get the same pull on the freeway or other roads when the crown is not there. I think I am smart enough to know when the road I am driving on has a crown.

What do you set your tire pressures to, OP? I filled mine up from 37 psi to 40 yesterday (285/70/17). Drove it around today and it made a pretty big difference in my case. I find it wants to go straight and I don't have to hold the wheel to the left as much.

@Fermn the roads here in Florida have a lot of crown in them to drain the insane amount of water that can fall in a matter of minutes. I've noticed different brands of tires react differently, but that said, 6 alignments is unacceptable. I'm convinced 2/3 of the techs out there have no clue how to align anything bigger than a Corolla.

I have a 12' Limited full time AWD and the constant torque pulling to the right is a little irritating. I let off the gas and it's not as bad, but then the crown of the road will make it drift to the right. So it's not just your truck lol.

Bigger tires make it all seem worse on these trucks for some reason. @Jetboy and @MyanRagahis have some good advice adjusting caster on the passenger side. That might help some, as well as experimenting with PSI.

Balancing certain tires is unobtainable for some techs, and some tire and rim combos are just more difficult to be balanced. Unfortunately it happens once in awhile.

My 2019 ORP pulled to the right since driving off the showroom floor. Had it back to the dealer multiple times: they have road force tested, replaced tires, done multiple alignments.... while it is a bit better after all this work, the truck still pulled to the right slightly.

All of above was with OE lift/wheels/tires.

I installed Toytec lift front/rear + SPC UCA's over quarantine myself.... carefully drove it to a reputable local 4wd shop. They got it all aligned, but the damn thing *still* pulls to the right slightly.... actually no different than pre-lift.

I've since rotated *every* single tire (yes, even the spare) in every possible combination in an effort to eliminate any "bad" tires to no avail.

So - at this point, I'm going to just deal with it until its these tires are roached and then replace with a real set of ATs (will replace wheels also) and hope that it all goes away. The shoddy Dunlops they put on these from the factory are complete shite and my hope is that they are the underlying root cause. Until then......

For the record: my ORP still pulls to the right even now with 21k miles. Swapping out the wheels/tires in December so will post up with results after that. I swear it is these crappy Dunlop's!

My brand new 2021 pulls, pulls to right, so I have to turn steering wheel to the left a little bit to keep car goes straight. A little bit, about 2~5 degree I guess?

I brought it back to dealer. They checked alignment specs, said numbers are all good. Technician took a test drive, said it痴 normal, or it was caused by crowned/uneven road pavement.

I drive mine 100km/day on different roads, I知 pretty sure it pulls, and I think for auto technicians it痴 too minor, not worth to do re-alignment.

Also I am curious, who do the factory alignments? Crew of Tahara Plant or people work in ports?

Sitting at the dealership now, with 240 miles on the odo on my new 2021 TRD Pro, as it's pulling to the right.

Before they even pulled it to the back they said "yeah.. we've been having this problem with a lot of 4Runners..."

If you guys have issues from the get-go on a new 4Runner, take it in.

My 2019 has always had a minor pull to the right, both stock and lifted. For me it's the road crown and nothing to worry about. Some of my previous vehicles pulled more or less on the same roads.

Minor steering correction to keep straight due to road crown isn't an issue and it's very, very hard to find actual flat roads. You might test it driving on the left side of the road where it should pull slightly left -- mine does.

Not my case, I've taken the same route for 3 years to work and the 4runner was not pulling prior to any modifications.

Thanks, and it does!

My theory is.. because the 4Runner is aligned in Japan (confirmed by the service team this morning at the 'ship), and they add on the Pro suspension/tires/wheels here.. that is what throws them out of alignment.

Just a hunch.
