I was not talking ground clearance, pure mechanics, electronics and design of the AWD system. Any AWD system that has 1 wheel losing traction and gets stuck, even with a locked transfer case, is not worth a dime to me. Believe me, if the Highlander had a decent system, I would be all over it. The size is perfect, reminds me of the 3rd Gen 4runner which I used to have for a little while a long time ago.
I am test driving a 460 tomorrow, that might just be what I need and fit the budget. The LC is in the unjustifiable range unless I find a decent priced barely used one. I dont believe in car loans and am trying to keep it under 45K.
Isn't the 460 sold in other countries as a LC150? Wonder what the mechanical similarities are.
