Correct. You do not want your sway bar flopping around. There are some really slick sliding ones, bu they are require manual intervention which can be a PITA.

Also correct on the IFS. It will add limited travel, but it will also let it travel easier. I'm really thinking the rear is the place to spend the time. The IFS will never be a solid axle.

My 2K Tacoma has no rear sway bar and flexes pretty good. The front IFS doesn't flex at all. Theoretically the 4runner rear could be pretty good as well. Ace the panhard rod and sway bar. Extend the swing arms and longer coils.

Just add a 'Disengage KDSS' button that remains off at higher speeds and this thread is solved to me.
