Fantastic news that you are back and will be getting things going again. I absolutely want on the list for the fairing once available. Best of luck and thank you.

Is he really back? His site looks dormant and he has not returned PMs here.

Solid work Eitek1. Hope things are starting to head in the correct direction for you and your family. I’m still interested in the destructive testing aspect of this build. Having a safe working limit attached to these is a value add.

Thumbs up for the Nise Rack, I bought a set a year or so ago, the designer was very helpful and quickly responded to my questions, and I've been very pleased with this product.

Solid construction, doesn't impact my mpg at all, no aluminum rust or anything, after all this time and use, looks like new.

I installed 2 Pelikan cases on top of it for more camping gear storage.

I had a rough end to last year and I had to give something up.

I think the last thing I wrote in here was someone was killed in front of my house with a sword. No kidding...

I signed a purchase agreement to sell my house and set a closing date. We were ready to move back to the country and I had a house setup ready to go. I got the closing date scheduled and everything was ready to go. Then... Hurricane Ida put a tree through the house I was moving into. Still not kidding.

Added to this was my company going through layoffs and me switching to and learning a completely new job in the following months.

I'd like to pick this back up. I'm going out for material quotes today and will likely have a new price due to the cost of raw materials. BTW, my prototype fairing works great. I'll see about producing those as well.

To the person that posted above me.... If I find a set (some of my stuff is still in boxes) you're first on the list to receive them.
That's a crazy level of problems. I hope you're doing better now. If you do ever get back into production please do post again here.

Best wishes!

Any updates on Eitek's status with these racks. His site simply says Out of Stock. Sent him a PM before summer started and no response. The racks are what I'm looking for. I'd prefer to avoid the powder coated steel or costly stainless steel ones.

Good luck! I know he's had a string of bad luck, but it's been almost two years of talk about a fairing that isn't available yet.

Related - anybody know of a fairing that will fit this? Or have a CAD template they'd be willing to share?

I built some crossbars like these before I knew these were a thing. Put an LFD fairing on them

Like this one? It's integrated into the crossbar if I'm reading correctly. Meaning I'll gain another crossbar for a total of 5. Hmmmm..

Could do that one. I actually got the bolt on one since I already had 5 crossbars

How far off the roof is the top of your crossbar? I had to add spacers to keep the fairing from hitting the roof. I think mine may be a bit lower than these crossbars

I'm not sure. I think the measurement is in this thread somewhere, though. A few spacers are fine if it helps bring down the wind noise.

Same way I felt. It cuts down wind noise a lot. I 3D printed my spacers. They are 4.5MM thick which leaves a 2.3MM gap on my particular setup. No whistling and lower wind noise
