Also, how are you securing all the stuff on the racks. I'm looking at velcro straps for these panels but would love your thoughts on what's the best from a security and rattling perspective.
Thanks for the comments! I can't say for sure if this shelf would work on the OB panels -- only one way to find out, haha! As for the items up on my shelf, they're coming into contact with the headliner and are kind of "squeezed" in there, so they won't be coming loose any time soon. The items on the side panels are secured a number of waysm either through nite-ize gear ties, velcro straps, bolts/nylock nuts, or a combination thereof.

The prior poster was correct -- one is a tow strap, will not flex whatsoever and is intendned solely for towing, while the other is a dynamic snatch strap and intended for recovering a stuck vehicle and not meant for towing.

As for the patch, that came from the one and only Dump Box:

Yes, I'm garaged every night. Even though we live in a very low crime area, I'd still be a nervoud wreck if I wasn't. Sounds like it's time for some garage re-arranging for you!

I don't think you can adjust the height of the Victory one, but it will be wider at a lower level. Once you buy both molle's and the rack it is pretty expensive. $660

Hey @frankdux - great post.

Question - what did you use to strap the Safe Jack to the panel? I'd like to copy your idea ...

The Power Tank is affixed to a bracket it came with -- and that bracket in turn is affixed to the M.O.R.E. Power Tank mount, which bolts into two locations in the rear left cargo area. Also, the Safe Jack is strapped into the molle panel to keep it from falling off the ledge that it's sitting on.

Thanks for asking! I just used a few velcro straps that can be purchased off Amazon. It's best to get a pack with a variety of lengths -- that way you'll have the right length for every application

to the people worried about stuff getting stolen out of your truck. the key answer is "Renter's insurance" little did i know that renter's insurance also covers lost items within your vehicle (up to 15,000 USD). at least for my policy it does. State Farm!

I have the Rago Molle Panels and shelf as well, perfect when you have kids and go to the park and need to be prepared or long road trips.

I do worry about the bags and stuff we have on the panels. Even though its hard to see inside, someone who is really looking for something to steal will see there are things inside.

Even with renters insurance or whatever insurance, the drama of having to repair the window and purchase everything again would be a big hassle.

Not only that, I have a roof rack with a case on top holding emergency supplies.
