Cartridge Oil Filter Seep

Besides our wonderful cartridge oil filter housing itself, what else might Be responsible for this oil seep?

I have replace the plastic cartridge housing with a metal one, but still have a slow oil seep.

I am now thinking about going to the product that converts to a spin on can filter.

Is there anything else higher up that might be leaking I should think about? I degreased washed everything a few months ago but wasn’t able to identify anything specific other than the housing.

I seem to be having trouble uploading pics....

It can really only be three things.

1. Cracked housing
2. Oil ring damaged, wrong for the application, or not seated correctly
3. Not properly tightened
